From winning a pitch to work with a Fortune 100 company to helping startups successfully launch their online presence, what an amazing journey this year has been. I’m thankful for the new clients, partnerships and projects that made it all possible.
So, from a place of gratitude, here are a few highlights from 2019.
Starting in January, I shifted my energy and mindset by listening to soundwave meditation and taking up a mindfulness practice with the I AM Journal.
After delivering new and improved design comps for Georgia Road Jobs, I turned my attention to the marketing of my own company. One of the best decisions made this year was to enlist the help of a business coach. With the guidance of Lindsey Anderson, we took the first step to rebrand our social media presence on LinkedIn.
Spring was an adventurous time as I attended two exciting events. The first was the 5th Annual Palm Event, that as the agency of record, JonesHaus handles all aspects of creative direction and execution. The spectacular weekend soiree featured over 100 world-class vintage sporting cars with Palm Beach as the backdrop.
In April, I returned to my alma mater in sunny Savannah to celebrate SCAD’s 40th anniversary with my fellow Bees. Joining reunion activities like the alumni brunch and Sidewalk Arts Festival, I found myself newly inspired about my decision to become a graphic designer and creative director.
As May came along, so did the launch of our new JonesHaus website. It also proved to be a fruitful month with several businesses knocking on our door for a website of their own.
In June, we kicked off our blog with Equestrian Sports & Design: The Art of Getting in the Zone. The post included pictures of me and my horse, Frank Sinatra taken at a photoshoot by the talented Kevin Garrett.
Staying busy as a SCAD bee for the rest of the summer and fall, JonesHaus completed marketing collateral design projects galore and several more websites as fast as we could to get through our…wait for it…waiting list!
As we say goodbye to this year, I’m looking forward to continuing the momentum gained and gratitude felt straight into 2020.
